Since health and fitness are not the only things that interest me I’ve decided to start branching out my blog a little and bringing in a little bit more, dare I say it…girlyness to it! Now, I do realize that these kinds of posts will not interest every single one of you, especially if you are mostly here for the health and fitness aspect of it. Don’t worry though, I will still be posting that sort of content too!
So I’ve decided to dive right into it with a review of my favorite Blush products. In no particular order, my current favorites blush products are as follows:
Physicians Formula Nude Wear – Glowing Nude Blush, Rimmel London Match Perfection Blush, Smashbox Reign Collection- Regal Fusion Blush. It’s hard to chose an absolute favorite when they all work wonderfully in different ways.
I have been a long time Physicians formula fan. Physicians formula is the first “expensive” makeup that I purchased as a teenager and I’ve been using it since. So when my previous Physicans Formula blush ran out I headed out to find a new one. It seems as though while i was busy using up my product the marketing guru’s at Physician’s Formula were busy as well, because when it comes time to restock my products they always have some new cute fancy packaging that makes my choice so much more difficult! One thing I can always count on physicians formula for is their consistency. No matter how much they change their packaging I know that their Blush always does what it says it will. As the name implies this Blush is more of a nude wear, which i’m totally into for the Summer! I just want a touch of rosy cheeks and I let the sun do the rest. This product is awesome if that’s what you’re going for. I went for the Glowing Nude Blush in Natural and the price was around $15CAD. This is definitely my go-to everyday wear blush!
If you are looking for more of a pop of color on your cheeks, which I do like from time to time! Reach for Rimmel London’s Match perfection Blush in 003 Medium. I like this blush because it comes with 3 different colors, you can use the lighter one to contour or use 1, 2 all or all three colors together for your blush. I also secretly used it as a brow bone highlighter! This product is also very affordable, I got it for around $6.00CAD at Walmart. I like to wear this blush if i’m going for subtle eyes and a pop of pink on my lips, I find that it this gives me just enough color while still giving me the natural look that I prefer on myself.
Smashbox Reign Collection Regal Fusion Blush
Last but certainly not least is the limited edition Smashbox Reign Collection Regal Fusion Blush. I doubt that you will be able to find this product at this time because it is a limited edition and it dates from 2009. Fortunately for me I found it at Marshall’s this Spring on clearance for around $5.00CAD and I just couldn’t pass it up. I’m usually not one for dark colors but I thought for the price it was worth giving it a try. Turns out I made the right choice! I love this little gem, i don’t wear it often, 1. because I want to keep it as long as possible and 2. It’s not a color I wear everyday. It’s a very nice coral color so it’s a bit darker but once it is blended in it looks great! It is very pigmented so you not need to use a lot in order to get the color you want, which is always a bonus for me! Especially when it comes to more expensive makeup. I know that you won’t be able to find this product in stores but I thought i’d share it with you just in case you did come across it or if you came across a similar Smashbox Blush!
I hope that you have enjoyed this post! If you would like to see similar post to this let me know so I can do them more often! If you did not like this post, i’m sorry but they will be happening once in a while so bare with me!
