I’m here to share with you my Egg Salad recipe as primosed on Twitter yesterday – follow me if you haven’t already! This recipe is very basic and easy to make. You can easily make more or less just double your ingredients accordingly. When I make a dish I rarely measure the ingredients, I just throw things together and adjust as I go. The trick is to start small and adjust to taste. Alright so let’s get right to it!
HFB Egg Salad
Prep time: ~5mins Cook Time:8 mins Serve Time: ~20 mins
✮6 whole hard boiled eggs
✮1 heaping tablespoon of mayo
✮1 heaping teaspoon of honey mustard
✮Garlic powder, to taste*
✮Pinch Ground pepper
✮1 celery stalk chopped up in little pieces
✮1/2 an avocado, mashed
✮4 whole wheat Toasts
1. Boiled your eggs, taken off the shell and place in a medium sized bowl.
2. Toast your bread
3. Place mayo, mustard, garlic powder, celery pieces and ground pepper in the bowl with the eggs.
4. Mash avocado & spread it on your toast like you would butter.
5. spread the egg salad onto your bread, sprinkle cheese over top and serve!
Note: I HATE mustard and this is my favorite egg salad recipe, you can’t really taste it, I find that it just ads a nice taste to the eggs, so don’t knock it till you try it!
