Hello again peeps of the interwebs!
I started this blog a little while ago, in the hopes of helping you along your journey, maybe motivating and inspiring as well! So far I have gotten good feedback from you and I am very pleased and happy about this. Since the feedback is mostly positive, I’ve decided to start doing weekly post series! What I mean by this is that three days a week I will be posting the same kind of posts. So this is how it’s going to go: on Monday’s we have Motivational Mondays, on Wednesday’s we wear pink, just kidding! On Wednesday’s we have Workout Tips Wednesday and on Friday’s we will have Foodie Fridays! On other days, I will try to post different kinds of content and I will most likely post other content on those 3 days as well. So be sure to check in often as I seem to be on a roll and I put out new posts quite frequently!
To be honest, I haven’t yet decided what Foodie Friday’s is going to look like, I haven’t decided what the post layout is going to be like or anything like that. All I know is that I want the Post to be related to Food things! What I would like from you is some ideas or examples of what you would like to see in this Foodie Fridays Series. I am open to all suggestions you may have! Comment below or follow me on social media and shoot me a message there.
Most of you probably know by now that I’m on vacation so this means that I don’t have all of the food that I normally eat when I’m home. Also, being a vegetarian can be trying in these times so I try my very best to simplify that aspect of my life. I know that my family eats meat, so I brought myself some tofu so that I can eat that when they eat meat. I like my tofu cut up into bite size pieces and then breaded so that they look like chicken bites – you can find the recipe for the Tofu Bites HERE. I remembered to bring the tofu but I forgot the bread crumbs. I sat down and put on my thinking cap on, since I’m a freaking genius, I decided to try to make my own bread crumb blend and this is how it went! Believe it or not but I even found a practical use for the end piece of bread! I told you, pure genius right here! ;)
HFB Bread Crumbs
Prep time: 0 minutes Cook time: 2 minutes Serve Time: 5 minutes
✮ 1 slice of bread – I used the end piece because it gets crispier than a regular slice.
✮ Mrs. Dash original seasoning
✮ Dried parsley
✮ Red pepper and garlic spices
1. Toast your bread until well done. Let cool for 5 minutes.
2. With you hands you’re going to crush the piece of bread until you reach the desire consistency.
3. Mix in the rest of the spices. I just eyeballed it, a dash of both is what I used.
& there you have it a homemade bread crumb recipe! You can take out or add other ingredients depending on what you like. I thought that this recipe tasted better than with my tofu than the store-bought one!
Don’t forget to comment below, letting me know what you would like to see in future Foodie Friday Posts!
Have an amazing Weekend & Return for Motivational Monday!
