I often get questions like “What should I eat before and after my workouts?” So I’m here to help ease your worries and answer your question. Once you understand that your body is like a car. It needs fuel to get you through that workout and at the end of your workout you need to refill your gas tank.
When it comes to pre-workout food you need to eat carbs, lean protein and water. Carbs will give you energy that is needed to power through your workout. Protein is necessary for your muscles and blood cells. And if you aren’t hydrated your body will have a hard time performing at 100%. Stear clear from anything fried and remember that pre-workout is not the time to try new foods.

You should reach for some protein but it doesn’t matter whether it’s coming from hard boiled eggs or chocolate milk or whey protein. And you only need around 10-20g for your muscles. Whether you are hungry or not post-workout you need to eat something!

I hope you have great day!
